From My Mess of a Life to Yours:
On the list of things that I am absolutely awful at, I would say managing my time comes in first place with flying colors. The thing is I could not tell you why at all. I feel like 24 hours should be enough time to wake up brew a fresh pot of coffee, make some homemade muffins, and then save the world. Right? That’s how each of us plan our days? Any schedule I have ever made, I have not exactly followed, and any to do list mostly consists of things I have already done so I could cross them off and feel accomplished (Do not lie, you have done this too). So how do people make time to go to school, work, and eat donuts? IS THERE A SECRET FORMULA, IF SO PLEASE FEEL FREE TO TELL ME.
The reality of it is, I could guarantee you that not a single one of us actually feels like we have our lives together. In fact, I am pretty positive that many of us look up to people who do not even feel like they have their lives handled either. My point is, this is so out of our control. If I had one piece of advice to give myself and others it would be this. LET IT GO. *cue Frozen music. Wow, I am actually sorry for that because that song will now be stuck in your head for 4 days.
ANYWAYS, your life is a mess, and so is mine, and we are all just a bunch of people living in a really messy world, but that my friend is 100% alright. Stop stressing about tomorrow because that is so beyond your control. Enjoy the now, be present, make the most of where you are at this exact moment, rather then focusing on planning tomorrow, because odds are, something won’t go as planned, life can get in the way, but that’s alright we are all in the same boat here.
PS. I found this verse to be very relatable so here it is...
“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself, each day has an enough trouble of it’s own.” Matthew 6:34
